Hung, the same logic applies — either side of a porch entry or a pergola opening, at equal height. This is the one arrangement where matching the elevation is right rather than staggering it.

Black pairs with everything, which makes these the easiest lanterns to drop into an existing setup. Against white walls and pale linens the frames read as sharp graphic lines; against brick, timber, or greenery they blend and the light does the work.
