Mini Drum Lamp — Small 3D Printed Ribbed Table Lamp
The drum profile at reduced scale, which does something the full-size version can't: it fits where lamps normally don't go. A crowded nightstand, a bookshelf between rows, a desk corner already holding a monitor and a notebook.
Shrinking it also changes the shade. The radial ribbing runs the full width of the cone, so a smaller diameter means the ridges sit proportionally closer together — finer, denser, more textural at close range than the same pattern reads on a larger shade. You see it from a foot away rather than across a room, and at that distance the detail is the point.
Lit, the ribs break the output into fine vertical bands rather than a flat wash, and the shade itself shows the pattern as alternating light and shadow around its circumference.
Printed to order, with slight variation in color and texture between pieces.

HOW TO STYLE IT
Small scale suits close viewing. Put it where people sit near it — a bedside, a desk, a reading chair side table — rather than across a room where the fine ribbing stops registering.
On a bookshelf it works between rows, with the downward light picking out whatever sits beneath it. On a desk it fits beside a monitor without taking depth. On a nightstand it leaves room for everything else that lives there.
Set it a few inches clear of a wall so the vertical banding has somewhere to land. Pair it with smooth materials — ceramic, stone, finished wood — so the ribbed texture has contrast rather than competition.
If you're running it alongside the full-size version, put them in different rooms. Matched forms at two scales in one sightline reads as repetition rather than a set.
