Outdoor Candle Lanterns Set of 2 — 19.5" and 13" Metal Lanterns

Two lanterns, 19.5 and 13 inches, built for outdoor use first. The height gap is wide enough that they read as a deliberate pair rather than two of the same thing — set them together and the difference does the composition; split them up and each has its own placement.

Metal frames with clear glass. Clear glazing rather than frosted or seeded matters outdoors, where the light has more distance to cover: it throws further and holds a defined shape against open ground instead of diffusing into a soft blur a few feet out.

Outdoors is where these do their real work. Along a garden path they mark the route and give enough light to walk by. On a patio or a balcony they cover an evening without needing anything overhead. Suspended from a tree or a pergola they light a seating area from above, which is a different effect than lighting it from a table.

Both work indoors too, though that's the secondary use. Candles are not included.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• Wipe with a soft dry or lightly damp cloth
• Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on the metal frame or glass
• Dry thoroughly after rain exposure to prevent moisture sitting against the metal

HOW TO STYLE IT

Along a path, alternate the two heights at intervals rather than placing them side by side — the rhythm of tall, short, tall reads better over distance than a matched line. On steps, put the shorter one on the higher tread so the tops sit closer to level.

On a patio table, the 13-inch works as a centerpiece without blocking conversation across it. The 19.5-inch is better on the ground beside seating or at the edge of a deck.

Hanging changes the whole effect. From a branch or a pergola beam, light falls downward onto a seating area rather than sideways across it, which is closer to how a pendant works than a table lamp. Use LED candles for anything suspended.

Indoors, the pair works on a hearth, either side of a doorway, or on a wide console with the taller one at the back.
