Wavy Pendant Light — Plug-In 3D Printed Fluted Pendant with 16.4ft Cord
The fluted wave shade hung from the ceiling instead of sitting on a table. Same ridged surface, same rippling shadow patterns across walls and ceilings, but suspended — which changes the cast entirely, since the light now radiates outward and down from above rather than sideways from a surface.
Installation is the practical case. It plugs in, so there's no hardwiring, no ceiling box, and no permanent alteration to the room. The braided cloth cable runs 16.4 feet, which is long enough to hang the pendant where you want it and reach an outlet on a different wall. Two mounts come with it — one for the ceiling, one for a wall — so you can drop it straight down, angle it across a corner, or run it along a wall depending on where the outlet sits. An inline on-off switch means you don't need a wall plate or a lamp base to control it.
Made from heat-resistant recycled corn-based plastic, 3D printed and assembled to order, with minor variation in color and texture between pieces.

HOW TO STYLE IT
Hang it where the shadow has somewhere to land. Close to a wall or in a corner, the rippling pattern throws onto a vertical surface and doubles the effect; centered in an open room you get the ceiling cast only.
The two mounts are what make the placement flexible. A straight ceiling drop works over a dining table or a bedside; a ceiling mount plus a wall mount lets you angle the cable across to reach an outlet, and a taut diagonal run reads as intentional rather than improvised. Over a table, keep the bottom of the shade roughly 30 to 36 inches above the surface.
At 16.4 feet you have real freedom, but plan the run before drilling — the difference between a clean install and a messy one is deciding where the cable goes first.
If you have the table lamp version, put them in separate rooms. Identical shades at two heights in one sightline reads as repetition.
