Wub Table Lamp — 3D Printed White Ribbed Column Lamp

A white column with a scalloped profile — the body swells and narrows in a regular repeating rhythm up its full height, closer to stacked forms than to a single continuous curve.

Fine vertical ribbing runs the length of it, following each bulge and pinch so the ridges compress at the narrow points and fan out across the wider sections. That's what keeps the surface reading as movement rather than as a static shape.

White is the practical difference. Where a colored translucent body tints the output, this one transmits whatever the bulb gives it — so the glow stays neutral and soft, and the lamp fits rooms where a warm amber cast would fight the existing palette. The whole column illuminates evenly rather than concentrating brightness at one point, and the open top sends additional light upward onto a ceiling or the wall above.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• Dust with a soft dry cloth or low-pressure air duster, working along the vertical ribbing
• Do not use water, solvents, or chemical cleaners on the printed surface
• Avoid abrasive cloths, which can scuff the translucent finish and dull the glow
• Keep away from heat sources and prolonged direct sunlight — printed material can soften or warp at high temperatures
• Use LED bulbs rather than incandescent to limit heat inside the column
• Unplug and let the bulb cool fully before cleaning
• White surfaces show handling marks; handle by the base where possible

HOW TO STYLE IT

The vertical proportion takes almost no horizontal space, which makes it a good fit for a bedside table, a narrow shelf, or a sideboard already carrying other objects.

The open top needs clearance above to be worth anything. On an open surface with wall behind it, the upward throw washes the wall and roughly doubles the lit area; tucked under a shelf, that's lost.

Neutral white is the easy-placement version of this form. It works against cool grays and blue-toned neutrals where amber wouldn't, and it sits equally well with warm woods and cream. If you want the lamp to disappear into a pale room and simply glow, this is the one; if you want the lamp itself to add warmth, the amber version does that.
